Big christening of the Sunreef 114 CHE
Sunreef is delighted to announce that its second superyacht, the biggest sloop-rigged catamaran in the world, the Sunreef 114 CHE is ready to head off to the Mediterranean.
After its launch at the end of July 2010, the finishing works on CHE were carried on during the whole month of August. The yacht has undergone numerous sea trials, all of them successful.
To celebrate the superyacht’s departure, a big christening took place last Friday, the 27th of August at Sunreef shipyard in Gdansk, Poland.
The ceremony begun with a solemn speech of the Sunreef’s President, Francis Lapp, followed by the speech of the owner. The christening was performed by the owner and his wife and witnessed by over 200 special guests invited on this occasion. After the official inauguration of the CHE, the guests had the possibility to get on board of the yacht and take a look inside its exquisite interiors.The reception included drinks and live music and ended up with the enormous birthday cake presenting the Sunreef 114.

Sunreef Yachts at the Cannes International Boat Show
Worldwide premiere of the Sunreef 102 IPHARRA
As every year, Sunreef Yachts will be present at the prestigious Cannes International Boat Show, which will be held between 8 and 13 September 2010. The company will display as a worldwide premiere its first superyacht launched in April 2010, the Sunreef 102 Double Deck IPHARRA and the luxury charter yacht, the 70 Sunreef Power DAMRAK.
To celebrate this event, as well as the progress made by the company over the last years, Sunreef is organising press conference during the show in order to fully present the Sunreef 102 and update the media on all other design and construction news from the yard.
